Openroad Auto Group has purchased Translink‘s property in Burnaby at Lougheed Highway and Boundary Road for $19,174,000. The 7.413 acre property located at 2020 Boundary Road, is designated for commercial development incorporating industrial flex/office with potential service commercial uses. A two-storey retail building on the south side of West Broadway has sold for $2,320,000,  representing $498 per sq ft. The asking price was $2,350,000. The building is adjacent Joey’s Broadway.

The building is 4,658 sq ft in size and is leased to a tanning salon on the upper floor on a month to month basis. The bottom floor is available for lease and asking $35.00 per sq ft net.

King George Building, 905 West Pender Street, Sold

A 7-storey office building at the corner of West Pender and Hornby has sold for $20,300,000, or $495 per sq ft. The 41,000 sq ft building was built in 1968 and had been marketed for sale in early 2012.

The purchaser was a local investor. The top floor has been vacant and can be renovated to allow use as office space.
