Latest Broadway Plan Tower Application is for 18-Storey Tower at Yukon & 14th

A rezoning application has been submitted for an 18,563 SF, three lot land assembly at the Southwest corner of Yukon & West 14th in the Cambie Village area of Vancouver.

The site is located in the Mount Pleasant RT Area (MRTB) of the Broadway Plan.

The proposal is to allow for the development of a 18-storey rental building and includes:

  • 134 units with 20% below-market;
  • a total density of 5.50 FSR;
  • A building height of 197 ft.

This application is being considered under the Broadway Plan.

A rezoning application has been submitted under the Broadway Plan for a 12,498 SF (100′ x 125′) site at 1171 West 12th Avenue, between Spruce Street and Alder Street in the Fairview neighbourhood.

The proposal is for a 17-storey rental tower that includes:

  • 111 rental units;
  • 20% below market units;
  • 55 studio units, 6 one-bedrooms, 39 two-bedrooms & 11 three-bedrooms;
  • a total density of 6.50 FSR;
  • A building height of 186 ft.
  • 58 underground parking stalls.

This application is being considered under the Broadway Plan.

9 Rental Units Pitched for Granville & 49th

A rezoning application has been submitted under the City of Vancouver’s Affordable Housing Choices Interim Policy for a site at the Northwest corner of Granville and West 49th Avenue.

The 8,000 SF lot at 1515 West 49th Avenue is currently an older single family house, but the proposal would allow for the development of two 3.5-storey residential buildings that would include:

  • 9 market rental units;
    • 8 three-bedroom townhouses and 1 caretaker suite;
  • Unit sizes ranging from 1,245 SF to 1,634 SF;
  • a density of 1.53 FSR;
  • a maximum height of 44 ft; and
  • 4 off street parking spaces, 1 car share space, and 24 bicycle spaces.
